Beautiful Sri Lanka - Kandy

Esala Perahera (parade) is the grandest festival held in Kandy and hosts elegant costumes. The Buddhist festival, which has become a unique symbol of Sri Lanka, boasts a vast array of traditional upcountry dances (fire dances, whip dances, Kandyan dances, and other cultural dances), and colourfully adorned elephants. During my recent visit to Kandy, I did not fail remember to bring back with me some cherished memories of the city to share...:-)

Excuse me :)

This is not all. There is a whole new cultural museum, don't miss it.
